Drafter/Designer (Houston, TX):

Versabar is seeking a 3D Drafter/Designer who is a motivated self-starter to complete 3D models and drawings accurately and efficiently.

Job Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Provide drafting/designing support to civil/structural and rigging engineering design teams.
• Construct and navigate detailed 3D models using AutoDesk suite of products including Inventor, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Complete conceptual models, layouts, and fabrication drawings in support of rigging, testing, and structural design projects using Autodesk Inventor.
• Maintain a library of equipment parts for use in Inventor models using Autodesk Vault.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2-year verifiable work experience and/or associate's degree in drafting & design.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in response to changing priorities of the project team.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks while handling multiple projects.
• Mechanical/machine design support and drawing experience.
